JH & Associates is a Canadian Security, Risk Management and Technical consulting group. We specialize in providing customized security and risk management solutions unique to each individual client.
We offer Threat Risk Assessments and Security Surveys to assess, evaluate and optimize new or existing physical security programs for a wide range of industries. Our multi-disciplinary team has provided these services for property management, government, critical infrastructure, banking, manufacturing, and agriculture clients.
We have the technical expertise to assist in sourcing new physical security systems or enhancing, replacing or optimizing existing security technology including CCTV, Access Control, and intrusion alarms.
As a completely independent service provider our role is to help our clients identify their needs and source cost effective solutions to meet them. JH & Associates is not affiliated with any integrator or security service provider and does not sell or install any products. This allows us to provide completely unbiased advice to our clients with only their best interests in mind. Our goal is to support our clients and help them to make informed decisions when investing in their security needs.
Jeff Hannah is a security and risk management professional with twenty years of experience. Jeff has operated a successful Consultancy since 2013 working in numerous sectors including commercial property management, banking, pharmaceutical, and critical infrastructure. As a consultant, Jeff has focused on the design and specification of security technology as well as Threat, risk, and vulnerability assessments.
As a security practitioner Jeff worked primarily in commercial property management. Jeff worked as Manager of Security for Square One Shopping Center which, at 1.7 million square feet, is one of Canada’s largest commercial retail properties. Jeff Has worked on national committees for both the Cadillac Fairview Corporation and Oxford Properties Group to develop and implement national risk assessment frameworks, emergency management/ business continuity strategy, as well as standards influencing the purchase and installation of electronic security systems.
Jeff is also one of a few individuals in Canada to hold both the Physical Security Professional (PSP) and Certified Protection Professional (CPP) designations from ASIS International. Jeff’s professional development activities include numerous security technology technical installation certifications, emergency management, and physical security management best practices.
Jeff aslco holds a two-year diploma in Law and Security from Sir Sandford Fleming College
